Jane’s World: New Year's Resolutions
Updated | By Jane Linley-Thomas
A new year signifies a clean slate to make those changes that we have been promising ourselves we would make for ages...
I am all for setting New Year's Resolutions, but it’s tough trying to stick to them, right?!
At the start of the year, you're brimming with enthusiasm to get things done, but we are all human and sometimes our focus and determination weaken and we lose sight of our goal.

Reaching a goal is so much easier when you have support and can be held accountable, and I know I want to hold myself accountable if I give up on a New Year's Resolution. Mr. T and I have decided this is our year and we are joining a running club so we can get fit together!
So here is what I am proposing... I want you to drop me a voice note right now and tell me what your New Year's Resolution is, why you are doing it, and how you are going to achieve it? I’m going to play these live on air and then Simon is going to take down your details.

These resolutions have to be achievable, like getting back to the gym, eating better, or cutting out booze or fizzy drinks for a month, kicking the smokes or just being more positive.
Every week thereafter, on a Monday, he is going to get your updates and we’ll play these on air. I’ll also chuck myself under the bus and take full responsibility if I fail at something.
Together we’ll help each other achieve our resolutions!
