Is it important for your partner to be into sports?

Men, listen up! Jane has something important to ask you and it has to do with something that some of you can't live without.

I know that this is stereotyping, but most men are into some sport or the other. Mr. T loves a bit of rugby now and then, and I always use this as an opportunity to have a get together with friends and family - with loads of great food and drink of course!

Gone are the days where sports are watched only by men. In this modern age, there seems to be a growing number of women who love watching their favourite sports with their significant other.

I personally don't consider myself to be a sporty wife. Sure, I watch the Sharks and Boks, but I must add that it has to be watched in real-time. I can't stand watching rugby that has been recorded and watched hours after it has happened. I absolutely hate that. It's something about the live element that I find so exhilarating and exciting at the same time. 

I become obsessive when the Olympics are on and will watch almost anything. Gymnastics and diving being my sports to watch while the Olympics are underway.

I love the occasional football game and even a bit of Wimbledon. I will try and get out of bed at some ungodly hour this weekend to watch Mayweather vs McGregor. Now you see, watching the documentary 'The Notorious' is my kind of sporty viewing pleasure that I enjoy.

Please don't ask me to watch cricket, golf or Formula One. I honestly would rather watch paint dry in the dark than watch those sports.
