The internet is losing it over Nike’s new sports bra ad

A Nike campaign featuring curvy models has people around the world cheering.

The sports giant recently launched its latest advert for its inclusive sports bra campaign, and we were pleasantly surprised to see some ‘plus-size’ models making an appearance.

Yes, brands are finally realising that women come in all shapes and sizes and their campaigns should reflect that – especially if they want to appeal to “woke” millennials.

The company shared two Instagram posts on its account several days ago, featuring model Paloma Elsesse and yoga instructor Claire Fountain.

Both women do not fit into the ultra-thin standards we are used to seeing in magazines and brand campaigns.

Even more exciting, Nike Women did not give itself a pat on the back for using curvy girls, and made no mention of their size in the posts.

“Thank you so much, I finally started to accept my body, & you doing this helps me feel even better about myself,” one follower commented.

Another Instagram user added: “Love this, please include more average-sized women in your campaigns going forward.”

It is clear from the posts that followers don’t think there is anything wrong with using thin women in campaigns, which is also normal, noted one user, as long as we get to see all girls getting represented.

Yes please to more variety and diversity in campaigns!
