If your partner could provide, would you quit your job?
Updated | By Jane Linley-Thomas
Being financially secure is of the utmost importance to many, but if your partner could take care of the bills, is there even a need for you to have a job?
If I won the lottery today, I would still come to work tomorrow. Okay, maybe not tomorrow, as I assume I would be drinking champagne out the bottle in the evening, but I would be back the following day for sure.
As I have said before, for me it feels like I've never worked a day in my life and connecting with you, my precious listeners, is one of the things I live for. Being on-air every day is not a job for me, it's something that is embedded in my DNA and something that continuously drives me. Each time I walk into the studio, I thank my lucky stars for being afforded the opportunity to be where I am today, doing what I love the most.

But on the other hand, if Mr T could support both of us and our three beautiful kids for the next 10 to 15 years, it would be nice. I mean, some people dream of living a life of luxury while their partner is out slaving their butt off on the daily grind, but as far as I am concerned, not doing what I do daily is a huge "Hell no!".
Would you ever be comfortable enough to quit your current job if your partner could provide financially for you?
