Have you ever felt guilty for tipping a waiter too little?

When it comes to tipping a waiter, even though 10% is the generally accepted number, most of us find ourselves asking how much is too much or too little?

In South Africa, tipping is a standard practice and you are expected in good faith to give your waiter between 10% and 20% of the total bill. Considering that waiters are paid minimum wage, not tipping is not an option.

However, when the bill comes and there is a group of people involved, how much to pay becomes tricky, and then when it's your first time in the situation, you're bound to be absolutely clueless. 

When I was younger and short on cash, I would pay what I had, but felt a sense of guilt for not paying the waiter more - but I was never as brave as this group of friends, who wrote a note to a waiter apologising for not paying enough. How amazing?!

Often we look at teens and think that they are lost in their own bubbles, but these kids will prove most of you wrong. 

According to Metro, a group of teens visited a restaurant for the first time without adult supervision after a school dance. The waiter went above and beyond to help them out, but at the end of the night, the group just scraped up whatever change they had.
