Girl orders her dream dress online and instantly regrets it
Updated | By Jane Linley-Thomas
Expectations vs Reality. A girl ordered what was meant to be
her dream prom dress but instead looked like a ‘quilt with arm holes’.
Alivia Briggs, a 17-year-old student, recently ordered what she thought was her dream dress from a Chinese site, but she didn’t quite get the fairy tale ending she had hoped for.
When reading this story, the words 'hope and expectation is the mother of all stuff ups' comes to mind.
This girl learnt that the hard way.
Although the dress is pretty, it's not what was offered. The dusty pink crystal creation is light years away from the pink dress with iron on lace detail.
This story is why I will never be an online shopper. I could possibly push it to a pair of shoes, but a dress for a special occasion without a fitting is straight up ballsy.
This is why you don't order from China!!!!!! 🙂 pic.twitter.com/9fCk6Csz7P
