As we all know, a family unit is not a one-size-fits-all kind of thing. We don't choose our family and yet we are bound by blood and history. Sometimes we can be polar opposites to the other folk in our tribe, which results in some pretty odd and weird behaviour and scenarios.

Okay so, #MyFamilyIsWeirdBecause...

Well, my mom, sister, and I have our own language that comprises of made up words, eye rolls, and fast-paced English. It was once named the 'Linley Lingo' and shame, it had my dad in the dark at times.

Now with my own little family, I suppose we do things differently, like when it comes to weekends, we extend our bed into one giant bed using mattresses so we can all cuddle and watch movies 'in the bear cave'. Also when driving around, we all wear sunglasses (regardless of the sunshine or not) and listen to Snoop Dogg at full tilt (the clean stuff). Love it!
