'Childish' mom removes daughter's bedroom door as punishment
A mom has been lambasted by the internet for the punishment she gave her daughter.
A mother from the UK has been called 'childish' by many online following her method of punishment for her teen daughter.
According to Daily Mail, the mom removed the daughter's bedroom door after "the teenager 'hacked' into her Instagram account."
She took to popular UK parenting website Mumsnet to rant about her 14-year-old daughter, who logged onto her social media and deleted the images she was featured in.
The mom shared the following post on the platform.
"My 14-year-old daughter hacked into my Instagram account (reckons she "guessed" the password). I have a strong suspicion she has given the password to her friends, as upon looking at recent logins, there is a LOT of various devices and locations. I only noticed I'd been hacked as ALL the photos of her had been removed. She reckons she didn't read my messages, or go through anything personal. I do not believe her. So while she's at school, I have removed her bedroom door. Since we are violating each other's privacy and all that. Partner thinks I'm being harsh. I admit I'm not looking forward to the explosive fireworks when she gets home and realises, but this is just one more thing in a huge line of s***** things she has done recently to breach my trust. I can't get through to her and don't believe a word that comes out of her mouth, it's all lies, constantly. So you have three hours to convince me either way before she gets home! Leave it off, or put it back?"
The internet came to her rescue with comments and thoughts on the mom's actions. Many labelled her as childish for doing so, while others praised her for removing her daughter's privacy, as she basically did the same to her.

The mom concluded by adding that she did put the door back eventually, however, it has sparked a major debate online about creative parenting punishments.
