Can this cupboard be opened without breaking plates?

People on social media try to help a frustrated mother in resolving her plate dilemma.
It's so wonderful living in a world where help and advice is just a few clicks away.
A Facebook user by the name of Tseng Shao-Tsen went online and echoed his concern of a picture taken by a friend of his who is a stay-at-home mother.

The picture shows a kitchen cupboard that has a pile of the most gorgeous white and sky blue porcelain plates that had toppled over and were now resting on the glass fronted door.
The post has been shared on social media and received over 15,000 reactions and 439 comments.

Some Facebook users gave the advice of putting a towel under the cupboard to soften the blow. Some suggested that she let bygones be bygones, but the one comment that I loved the most was that she should sell the cupboard to a museum and display as a 'frozen in time' piece.
You will be happy to know that no plates were hurt in the opening of this cupboard. Good work!
