This is the best divorce ever

It is so heart-breaking when a divorce ends with the kids being used as emotional punching bags.

I must say though more and more I am see parents putting their kids first and successfully co-parenting without any animosity.

This Canadian couple Shannon and Chris Neuman filed for divorce last Thursday and while at the courthouse decided to snap quick selfie to commemorate the occasion. 

Gosh how refreshing that it is possible to shelf the painful struggle and process of divorce and set each other free with the love and respect you went into the marriage with.

I was so moved by the post below and in particular where Shannon writes 'They'll never have to wonder which side of the auditorium to run to after their Christmas concert or spring play, because we'll be sitting together.'

What an example these two are and hopefully this post will make couples consider the more peaceful approach and keep their kids wants, needs and desires at the forefront, always.
