Updated | By Jane Linley-Thomas
The rugby world woke up this morning to the sad news. Jonah Lomu died overnight at the age of 40 in his home in Auckland. Jane has shared the beautiful moment Joost and Jonah met earlier this year.

Jonah Lomu died overnight at the age of 40 in his home in Auckland.
He had been battling kidney disease, nephrotic syndrome that forced him to retire in 2004.
Lomu played 63 tests for New Zealand from 1995 to 2002, scoring 37 international tries.
I found this footage captured earlier this year as one legend sits alongside another - such powerful words from the late Jonah Lomu.
As the world moans and reacts to this loss we send such love and light to his wife and their two sons.
Take a look at his wife's emotional tribute to Jonah Lomu here
