Award-winning Actress Lungelo Nxele is set to host the 6th Africa Television Market (ATM) in Durban, which takes place from 18 to 20 July at the Blue Waters Hotel.

The 6th annual Africa Television Market (ATM) is back in Durban from 18 to 20 July, with its founder and Director, Mrs Lungelo Nxele, set to host the event.

Lungelo is an award-winning actress who has won herself an AMAA award in Nigeria (2009) for the best promising actress in Africa, and a SAFTA award for the Best Actress in a Drama Series in South Africa (2012). 

ATM will delve into the many dynamics of the business of television, technology, and content with a very impressive list of panelists, including the likes of Bobo Radu (Executive Producer at ETV), Mbali Ntuli (Mzansi Magic) and Candice Fangueiro from Showmax.

Subjects that will be covered during the three-day conference will include: 

  • Constructing quality content
  • Industrial revolution
  • Creating content for Africa and the diaspora as well as educational institutions

Lungelo keeps raising the bar with this annual market, which has seen the likes of Viacom’s Monde Twala, respected TV expert Tim Horwood, Actress Zikhona Sodlaka, and Actress and Acting Academy Director Zinzi Zungu all attending.
