Of all the allergies a person can suffer from, Jane figures an allergy to chocolate has got to be the absolute worst?!

Allergies are not an uncommon thing. You get the everyday issues like pollen, peanuts, and dust. Then you get the intense ones like the sun (I can't begin to imagine how these people cope?), water (again, how?!), raw fruit, and vegetables.
But the one that got me stumped is the allergy to chocolate. I mean... chocolate ice-cream, choc-chip cookies, chocolate cake... basically chocolate anything. This feels like the end of the world for me! Okay, that's a tad bit dramatic, but I love chocolate so much!
It turns out that Durban comedian Jem Atkins and his son are allergic to chocolate. This post with a drawing from his son broke my heart.
I mean, is there anything worse than being allergic to chocolate?
Well, in my case I'm allergic to a bunch of things:
- Coriander
- Boxed wine
- Arrogance
- Racism
- Ghekos
- Wooden chopping boards
- Chipped nail polish
A dear friend of mine is allergic to bees. It is so bad that she puffs up when she sees one in a magazine! Not really, but you get the point.
