We received the following message from a listener:

Hi Stacey

Please keep me anonymous. My mother-in-law has been ill for the last few years and she needs a kidney transplant.

We did some tests and I found out that I am a match, but I am afraid to do the surgery because I have a family history of two relatives not coming out of surgery.

My wife does not understand and says I am refusing to help her mother cause I hate her. It’s causing a lot of problems in our marriage.

Am I the douche for not giving my mother-in-law my kidney?

What are your thoughts on this situation?
