Who in your family spends money on unnecessary things the most?
Sometimes there is literally no more money to spend, but you'll still find someone in the family that will always have a reason to buy something that they have no need for, and even if there is money, they'll be the money wasters buying the most unnecessary things.
On Wednesday, JSbu told the team the most absurd thing that happened to him in the morning while he was running his errands.
He was dragged by his baby sister this morning. She labelled him a cheap skate who is bad with money management - and we were obviously intrigued as to what she meant by that.
So JSbu decided to let it all out and tell us what actually went down.
So, this morning friend I had to go to my parents house quickly to pick up something for my son and whilst I was there my baby sis, tried her tricks with me…asking me for some money. Mind you, I had already given her some pocket money month end (4 days ago)…and when I ignored her…as a joke she said that ‘Vele I am stingy and I am going to waste my money on unnecessary things’…I was so shook.
Imagine that audacity! He was being called out for his very own money that he has worked hard for by someone who is still a student... family can be so intense sometimes.
There are always those family members who abuse all the luxuries they are given or that use money for the most unnecessary things.
After JSbu's story, we reached out to KZN to find out if they have similar issues or problems with some family members. We asked them: Who in your family spends money on unnecessary things the most?
KZN didn't disappoint with their responses, one listener said:
Mom🙄. She buys things to decorate not to use. Dare you use it!!! Yho!!!!! Till Kingdom come. But it was for my benefit, when I got married and moved out I shopped from her cupboards 😜
Another one said:
Yeey my sister.. Yoh... She just messaged me now to buy her make up.. Only because it had a marvel bond on it... Dear lord bless me..
