WATCH: Twitter criticises mother for her nighttime baby feeding technique

A user had simply said how motherhood isn't easy when he shared a video of a mother feeding her child and was met with heated replies!

It's important to remember that parenting is not a one-size-fits-all thing.

Every parent will figure out a routine that works for them, come up with methods of taking care of their baby that might differ from yours, and generally just make choices that fit their lifestyle and parenting style better.

It's not always up for debate or necessary for fellow parents to constantly criticise and judge one another.

And we're not talking about the general agreed-upon no-nos and such.

But if parents are feeding their baby and their child is healthy, why do others feel the need to chastise them for the method with which the baby is fed?

Breastfeeding or formula, who cares? The parents, that's who and that's all that should matter.

Over the last few years, many mothers have started speaking out about the mom-shaming they have experienced. Women are constantly being judged for their decision to either breastfeed or not (and let's not even get into breastfeeding in public), whether they are a working mom or stay-at-home mom and people are even commenting on how these moms should be spending their free time.

That's why it is sad to see the response to Twitter user E-zrael Ani's video.

E-zrael has innocently shared a video that shows a mother, father, and baby getting settled into bed.

Throughout the night, mom has to feed the baby and this happens every few hours while dad is fast asleep not aware of anything happening right beside him.

The video is captioned, 'Motherhood really ain't easy mehnn'.

What seems like a pretty obvious statement, regardless of the mother's actual feeding methods or any other parenting skills, got some people in their feelings.

At first, most of the replies to the tweet were in agreement and even sympathised with the mother. Naturally many of these tweets were from women.

But soon things turned ugly when some men felt they were being attacked, wanted to weigh in on the situation as well, and soon it was a full-blown man vs woman showdown:

While most of the people were just looking to cause some drama and were focused on which parent needs to portray which role and who is doing what wrong, others were trying to make helpful suggestions:

At the end of the day, this is the moral of the story: the mother featured in the video wasn't actually complaining so any unsolicited advice and commentary was unnecessary.
