Every year, there is a dance challenge that sweeps across the country and this year the #NkaoTempelaChallenge has been all the craze!

From celebrities like Linda Mthoba, Thabsie and Moozile to TikTok stars and ordinary South Africans. You simply cannot be on social media without seeing it pop up your feed. The challenge is inspired by one of the songs for this Summer by Mellow and Sleazy.

We may have however found our favourite dance challenge video yet though! 

@stayyhydrated jumped on the trend yesterday by featuring her gogo in a video that has since gone viral on Twitter. She captioned the video with the following:  “Teaching my girlie how to nkao tempela.” 

The video has clearly won the hearts of many South Africans who found the video not only funny but wholesome!
