Imagine this scenario: Boy meets girl…boy and girl are the best of friends, boy and girl fall in love but then things happen and they don't end happily ever after. Boy and Girl move on BUT can they still remain friends?
KZN, we want to hear from you. Is it possible to remain good friends (hang out, chill, be besties even) with someone you were once in a romantic relationship with?
Exes are always a tricky situation because you never know what happens after a breakup. What's okay to do? What's not okay to do? Are we normal with each other? What if I start dating someone else?

Some think that people who believe they can still be friends with their exes are in denial…or there’s something more that they’re not willing to say.
Listen, attachments sucks, but letting go is a hard pill to swallow for many, even if it is better to do so.
There are a lot of things that usually work against remaining friends with your exes. For example, you move on and your significant other doesn't appreciate that. What happens now?
In some situations, the break up wasn't your choice so you may still find yourself having strong feelings for your ex and those feelings don't just go away especially if you still watering them by still attaching yourself to that one person you feel has your heart.
Or worst of all you have settled. You settled to rather be friends with the person because you can't imagine your life without them. What a disaster!
