Super Mega makes his COVID test results public
Updated | By Zama Dlamini
We have seen it with the likes of Tom Hanks and Idris Alba when they decided to share their COVID-19 test results publicly. AKA has decided to do the same through a press release that he hopes will raise awareness about the virus.
AKA took to his social media on Friday to share a press statement with his millions of followers on social media:
In the statement, the rapper pleads with South Africans to practice safe social distancing guidelines and that they ensure they wear their masks and maintain stringent hygiene measures.
He has also cautioned South Africans to be observant on how their bodies are feeling to be able to detect if they are showing one of the many symptoms that are associated with the virus.
As soon as you feel that cough coming on, that headache ... weakness in your muscles. Chills at night. Trust me. GO TEST ASAP. There’s places where they do the swab at the back of your throat, not that insane up your nose one. Do it so you can know what you dealing with.

AKA has said that he will self isolate and aims to be transparent about his journey with COVID-19 going forward.
Stacey & JSbu wish the rapper well on his recovery.
