If you’re curious about the colour circle that may have appeared in the search section of your WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram - you’re not alone.
Meta AI has been pushing on with a number of upgrades that they will be introducing bit by bit in dozens of countries.
Some countries that already have access to Meta AI include:
US
Australia
Canada
Ghana
South Africa
Jamaica
Malawi
New Zealand
Nigeria
Pakistan
Singapore
Uganda
Zambia and
Zimbabwe.
How to use Meta AI
If you click on the colourful circle on the search bar on your Meta app (WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook) you can use it to ask a question. Simply begin typing and Meta AI will offer ideas for you to pick from, reports WhatsApp. You do have the option to type your query in full, though!
If you’re planning something like a night out, a weekend away or looking for an interesting event, Meta AI can be used to locate these with a simple question. You can ask Meta AI to find a place to enjoy a weekend away or locate concerts in your area on that specific night.
It doesn’t stop there. You can also ask Meta AI to generate images for you. Just type the word “imagine” followed by your prompts. As seen below:
“In the coming months, we expect to continue to enhance the performance of Meta AI even more and bring new creative capabilities to WhatsApp. While there is much to be excited about, we know that generative AI won’t always be perfect,” WhatsApp said in a statement.
