A series of videos have revealed that kids purposely avoid grass.

Kids can do a lot of strange and unexplainable things, but one thing is certain, their instincts can always tell us something about human nature.

In a recent viral video, babies are seen actively avoiding grass in a compilation of similar videos. See below:

The viral video, posted by user @TansuYegen, has been circulating the internet.

In the video, kids are seen lifting their legs as much as they can, stretching their legs away from the grass, and even getting uneasy when forcefully brought closer to grassy green patches.

The user wrote with the video: "Babies instinctually avoid grass. Do they know something we don’t..”

A study published in the journal 'Cognition' revealed that babies are sceptical about plants in general.

"Infants as young as eight months exhibit greater reluctance to manually explore plants compared to other entities.”

#Trending reports that kids might be hard-wired to be sensitive to "ancestrally recurrent dangers” that stem from plants, like being poisoned by something toxic.

Interestingly, this plant hesitancy occurred in babies as young as eight months.

Users have had adverse reactions to these findings: “We too should avoid walking on grass! Scientifically it has been proven that plant are living beings."

Another user believes that babies are “in electrical equanimity” and what an adult aspires to be.

The user wrote: “They are in electrical equanimity. As they age, As they ‘grow’, As they become influenced by societal conditioning, They become electrically imbalanced. This is why adults crave to be within nature, To become electrically balanced once again, Like the baby already is.”
