Rest in peace to a friend who we love. Nesquik, you have made milk very special. You will be missed, but we're the only ones to blame.

Recent news reports state that SA's beloved milk flavouring will be discontinued. Apparently, bottles of this "good stuff" have not been flying off our shelves very quickly. Alas, Nesquik has attributed this finale to a lack of demand.

According to News 24, this renowned product was discontinued on 21 August 2023.

So what does this mean?

Anyone who enjoys the Nestlé flavoured milk drink better stock up as it won't be available locally. While many folks around the country are disappointed, this has been a long time coming as flavours other than strawberry and chocolate haven't been readily available.

Let's take a trip down memory lane....

Back in the day, banana and creme soda were also available flavours before Nestlé ended production. Up until this month, strawberry and chocolate were going strong.

"My childhood, I will miss you," remarks one Tweep.

No more bunny milk! Nesquik is gone, how do you feel? South Africa has weighed in with their thoughts. Take a look:
