Newly-crowned Miss SA Shudufhadzo Musida should be basking in the light of her win instead she is fighting trolls

Our beautiful Miss SA's reign has definitely started on a rocky road as South Africans turned a happy moment into a bitter one with everyone making a Shudufhadzo-Zozi comparison.

Miss SA Shudufhadzo Musida has been touring around South Africa after her amazing win, but instead of SA celebrating her during her homecoming tour to Limpopo, at her home village of Ha-Masia, she has had to deal with negative comments which flooded the net this past weekend.

With her being new in the limelight, you'd think these horrible online trolls would affect her in some way, but instead Musida hasn't let them win. She clearly chose to be the bigger person because she ignored everyone and enjoyed the warm welcome she received from fans back home.

It goes without saying that the comparison between Musida and current Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi was eventually going to be made, but the way it played out was not expected.

Tweeps didn't hold back on this topic; they wanted to make their opinions very clear, from playing the tribalism card to accusing Musida of being arrogant.

There were a lot of hurtful comments that were thrown around, but despite the negative comments and attacks, some fans showed their support for the queen.

Bonang Matheba also voiced her support by saying:

Causing Musida to respond with, “Love you mama.”

It’s not the first time Tunzi has been pitted against her fellow Miss SA winners, but let's hope it's the last time. Everyone is allowed to shine when it's their time...
