Jason Derulo involved in physical altercation with stranger who mistook him for Usher
Jason Derulo ushers in the new year with some controversy!
According to the Las Vegas Police Department, Jason Derulo was involved in a physical fight in the early hours of the morning on Tuesday.

In a video obtained by TMZ, Derulo is seen heading down an escalator when a man standing in a line outside of a night club yelled at him with some expletives after addressing him as another artist: Usher.

Derulo did not take a liking to this and right after this exchange, the footage shows him scuffling with security guards who were trying to pull him away. In the same content captured, Derulo is seen punching the unidentified man.

An eye witness has told TMZ that Derulo was lead away in handcuffs after secruity managed to calm the situation down. It is said that Jason Derulo was not arrested or cited in the incident because the victim did not want to press charges.
