It's been a crazy week for South African's but what made it even worse was Controversial author Jackie Phamotse's clut talk and salacious claims about some people in the entertainment industry of using “snakes” and “witchcraft” to get ahead.

Watch video below of Jackie's clut talk:

After this a lot of celebrities slapped back but in the most unexpected way, instead of being nasty they actually had fun with the snake theory.

One of many celebrities was Metro FM DJ Pearl Modiadie, she decided to show her fans her funny side poking fun at claims that some of Mzansi's most famous faces use “dark magic” to achieve their success

Pearl posted a snap of herself on Twitter with a snake around her neck captioning it “What's this about snakes?"

But soon deleted the post reassuring fans that it was a throwback snap of her on a trip to Bali three years ago.

While this was going on 947 host DJ Fresh also decided to join in on the fun, posting a picture of himself holding a snake and Rapper Cassper Nyovest shared a throwback video of his bestie Carpo freaking out while holding a snake. We definitely not going to hear the end of these snake jokes.

TT Mbha reality television star with his spicy self also decided to bless Instagram with post a picture of him and a snake, the caption was the best part.

Influencer Kefilwe Mabote also teased a bit while jetting off to what seems like a holiday.
