Illegal beach party in Melbourne of over 100 people causes havoc

The world is still fighting hard against the coronavirus, but some people are too relaxed for their own good.

You would think the people of a city that just came out of one of the harshest lockdowns in the world would stick to the rules to ensure that doesn't happen again. But nope, not the people of Melbourne...

Instead, they did the complete opposite when dozens of partygoers gathered at a Melbourne beach on Sunday to have what appears to be a huge party.

Unfortunately for them, some of the partygoers thought it would be a brilliant idea to upload evidence of it to social media. Imagine!

Watch the video below that shows more than 100 people gathered at Black Rock, a secluded beach in Melbourne's south-east.

At the moment in Melbourne, laws only permit 10 people gathering, but clearly these beach bums didn't care much about the rules that day because it seems like this party got out of control real quick.

The video that was uploaded shows large groups of ravers congregating at the beach, with little to no social distancing and no face masks to be seen.

The party was shut down by the Victoria Police. Surprisingly enough, no one was arrested and no fines were issued to those who violated literally all the COVID-19 regulations.
