This salon didn’t quite nail it when it came to a safe and sanitary procedures for their customers.

You’d never say that a nail salon could be the cause of an amputation but, yeah, it happened.

Millions of people reached out on TikTok expressing their concern and thoughts on this delicate matter.
She shares that despite the salon appearing to make a great first impression, it was only downhill from there.

The avid nail-biter suffered from damage to her nails, thus would frequently get them done to avoid biting and embarrassment.
Some of the red flags she came to notice were staff not cleaning equipment properly, as well as using equipment on one person and immediately transferring it to another
The next day she began to notice something terribly wrong.
“My nails started to really ache. They felt really tight, particularly on this thumb,” she explains, pointing at her left thumb. “It felt like an ingrowing nail and it started to get red and really hurt.”- Beth Josey
