Here are the biggest lies that movies have ever fed us!

From kissing in the rain to diving into the ocean and even dealing with conflict...
Movies are filled with so much joy, wonder, and mystery.
They set a precedent for how things should be in the real world, but often life disappoints.
The question on our minds is: "Is life disappointing us or are movies setting these unattainable expectations?"

"Movie Magic" is a term used when movies hype something up to be more than it is. An exaggeration or over the top moment that doesn't live up to real life.
Here are the biggest lies that movies have ever fed us:
1. Kissing in the rain
One of the most beautiful moments is cinematic history, despite all adversity faced, one can embrace in a moment of passion with their partner... in the rain.
"Nope, doesn't work. Been there, done that," reports J Sbu.
2. Getting out the pool
Every person thinks that when they get out the pool and are soaking wet, they too will have that slow-mo 'Baywatch' effect. To our dismay, this doesn't work and just leaves on-lookers confused at why you're trying to act sexy.
3. That candles are cheap
Ahh, love is truly in the air but rather than complementing this moment by burning candles, you will be burning a hole in your pocket. The hundreds of candles that you see on your date are expensive AF...
4. It's appropriate to stand in front of someone's house with a boombox
We all know that classic scene that is "guaranteed" to melt your significant other's heart. Standing outside someone's house with a boombox isn't actually cute. When you think about it, it's actually a little creepy.
5. Running through an airport
Did you know that running through an airport is actually illegal. Need we say more about this one.
6. Love conquers all
Sometimes love is complicated and you just don't get the guy. This idea of always having a "happily ever after" couldn't be further from what actually happens. Love hurts.
7. The main guy never dies, a heroes journey without death
The hero can be held together by a toothpick, but still walks out alive. Magically he heals himself and fights the next battle.
Last but not least, here is the final lie that movies led us to believe were true:
That people can fly, snakes can be on planes, vampires sparkle, and dogs can talk...
