Farewell to the FIFA Franchise
Updated | By Stacey & J Sbu
Fans are heartbroken over the Fifa gaming franchise coming to an end after 30 years...
This is the end of an era.
It's been a good run for the FIFA franchise but it's time for them to throw in the towel.
Pending the release of FIFA 23 on Friday 30 September 2022, the franchise is shutting down.

EWN reports: "US game maker Electronic Arts (EA) and global football body FIFA spent months negotiating over the licensing agreement that has underpinned the game since its first edition in 1993."
However, confirmation of the split was confirmed in May when FIFA said it would be seeking other partners and EA said it would rebrand its game as "EA Sports FC" from next year.
EA Sports and FIFA will be ending their 30-year partnership, making FIFA 23 the final game in EA's FIFA football simulation game series. EA has since confirmed that that they will release a new game, EA Sports FC, as a follow-up to FIFA 23. The end of an era.

Some fans are disappointed although others believe that they "went out on a high."
Many argue that the FIFA gaming franchise has a limited period of operation anyway.
Times, habits and behavioural patterns are changing post-covid.
Rumours are circulating that the franchise has something bigger and better in the works. Stay tuned.
Maybe FIFA ending will cause EA to sort themselves out because every day there is nonsense with this game
