Despite Steve Jobs' incredible contribution to the world of technology, he is leaving another kind of legacy after these shoes sold for a whooping R3,848,055.20 ($20,000).

Julien’s Auctions reports that this is the most expensive pair of shoes it's ever sold.

“The cork and jute footbed retains the imprint of Steve Jobs’ feet, which had been shaped after years of use,” Julien’s Auctions said in the listing on its website.

These sloppy sandals have also caused outrage in Mzansi. 

Despite the sandals being a foundational part of Jobs’ wardrobe, people cannot believe how someone would pay the obscene amount for them.

The question on everyone's mind is: "What will the money be used for?"

Perhaps it will go to Steve's foundation or purchasing stock in birkenstock... only time will tell. Stay tuned.
