Would you ever take a bullet for a family member?
Updated | By Thandolwethu
Thandolwethu shared the horrific story of how the security guard at
ECR was held up at gunpoint and no one helped him.
Every afternoon when I come into work at East Coast Radio I greet everyone along my way. I tend to catch up with everyone and I like hearing their stories, it’s great for ideas for my show.
But last week I was chatting to the security guard who sits at the reception desk in the evenings and he told me about how he had been held at gunpoint. He was with his little boy and felt helpless as the man robbed him of all his belongings. What made him so upset was the fact that no one bothered to help him.
But why would they? Why would anyone risk their lives for a strange person in the street? I wondered, though, would it make a difference if it was a family member?
