Cassper Nyovest, Boity to battle it out on TV

Hmmm, well, this is going to be quite interesting.

Former celebrity couple, Cassper Nyovest and Boity Thulo, will be locking heads on the premiere of Lip Sync Battle Africa.

This announcement comes just weeks after Boity publicly revealed that they were no longer together.

The couple, who initially broke up in December, had all eyes focused on them last year as they publicly shared intimate pictures of themselves on a vacation at a secluded island.

However, it seems like the two exes are looking forward to battling each other in front of the entire continent.

In a statement, Cassper said that people should prepare themselves for a good show.

“I plan on having a lot of fun on Lip Sync Battle Africa. Fans can expect to see me being less serious than I’d usually be, and just truly and honestly having fun – while still delivering a good show. I have honestly had no idea why MTV chose to put me in the first episode, but I’m glad because then I don’t have the pressure to follow on someone else’s performance, I get to set the bar which is cool!”

Boity also expressed great excitement in getting into this Lip Sync battle with her ex-boyfriend.

Whoever thought we'd watch celebrity exes battle it out on TV for our viewing pleasure? What a time to be alive!

“Lip Sync Battle Africa takes me completely out of my element, but I’m genuinely having the time of my life. Expect to see a side of me that you have never seen before. I had no idea that the ability to freely make a fool of yourself would be so much fun!

I’m really looking forward to seeing the show myself. All I know is that I had a fantastic time and I would love the opportunity to come back and do it all over again!”
