Bongani chats to London-based SA fashion designer
London-based South African knitwear designer, Laduma Ngxokolo has had a chat with Bongani Mtolo.
Laduma Ngxokolo, the innovator of the Xhosa inspired knitwear brand, MaXhosa by Laduma.
Ngxokolo established the brand in 2011 with a desire to explore knitwear design solutions that would be suitable for the Xhosa initiates traditional dress.
Since then, Ngxokolo has received numerous awards from different parts of the world.
In 2014, he was awarded the WeTransfer Scholarship to study masters in Material Futures at the Central St. Martins until 2016.
