Feeling too lazy to take a drive? How about taking a short flight from Richards Bay to Durban?

In a society where time is money, the peak definition of wealth is paying for convenience. This choice has been embraced by a TikTok content creator after she hopped on a flight from Richards Bay to Durban because she was "too lazy to drive".

This unfathomable route included a pit-stop at OR Tambo International Airport in Gauteng!

If we take a closer look at the facts, travelling from Durban to Richards Bay and vice versa is about 178.1km on the N2, covered in 118min depending on traffic.

TikToker Rasikhanya said that her three-city tour took two hours. In total, the trip cost her close to R7,000 and she posted some receipts for her followers, who were in disbelief.

Online users have clapped back at this influencer, sharing their take on how she spent her money: 

  • "Did you win the lotto my sister? Aibo!"
  • "Let me be your driver, I'm from Richards Bay"
  • "Tell me you're rich without saying you're rich"
  • “Wait you telling me (that) you went from Richards Bay to Johannesburg and than from Johannesburg to Durban? but driving from richardsbay to Durban is just 1 hour 30 minutes sis wami.”
  • "This is a real life example of ‘once I have money I won’t say anything but the signs will be there.'"
