You're taught from a young age that you need to be friendly and to make friends with other kids. It comes natural to you when you're young and carefree. The only thing you have to worry about is what colour crayon is your best.

However, as you get older, it gets more challenging. Trust issues start to creep in, and if you have had a friend who backstabbed you, it becomes increasingly difficult to open yourself up to the idea of new friends.
I caught up with a local Life Coach to learn more about the art of making friends as an adult, and what you need to do to be open to more friendships in your adult life.
