Self-driving vehicles are a big topic in design at the moment - and with this future in mind, Uber is looking into how to make the ride not just safe, but as smooth as possible too.

The ride-sharing company has been investigating how being a passenger in a self-driving vehicle is going to actually feel and they identified motion sickness as a potential issue to overcome.

If you’re not controlling the car yourself, you’re more likely to suffer from it, especially if you’re multitasking. So they recently filed a patent for technology that uses physical feedback to help reduce this phenomenon.
