What does the team think of Phat Joe?
We asked Zaba, Rory and Gareth to speak openly and honestly about their host. And that is exactly what they did.
East Coast Drive has been taken over by the loud and crazy and incredible and Phat Joe.
Our social media pages have been inundated with your comments on what you think of the newest member of the East Coast Radio family.
So, we decided to ask those closest to him at the moment what they thought of Phat Joe.

Zaba: He’s a hard worker, and for some reason, I have heard him speak about how well-endowed he is far too often. Also, I think we need to buy the dude a watch. I think he's been on time for anything once or twice, at the most. Oh, one last thing! He needs to shut up sometimes! He talks so much I get a headache.
Rory: Sorry, what was the question? My schedule 4 tranquilisers have just kicked in. No, seriously, I love to hate how I sweat during every link, because I have no idea what's going to come out of Phat Joe's mouth. He's a loose cannon. But, I love that. But, the man knows this thing. The man loves this thing. His passion is contagious. Sometimes, however, I do regret ever giving him my phone number. Dude gets needy. Yoh!
Gareth: After two days being on the show and about a week of knowing Phat Joe, it is clear he is many things. Aside from what everyone thinks about him, I was blown away by how busy and dedicated this guy is to his career. As of this week, he hosts an awesome Drive show from Monday to Friday then swaps his radio voice for his TV face and hosts a weekend Breakfast show on SABC 3 and the Real Goboza on a Saturday night. Forget the fame, fortune and all of that – this guy works hard for what he has! I also love that he burns the hell out of everyone.
