A very brave mom
Updated | By East Coast Drive
The Big Favour was fortunate enough to have met a very courageous and hardworking mom.
Margy wrote to The Big Favour asking for help with colleague and friend, Hlengiwe.
Hlengiwe is a young, single mother of three kids, one of whom, Hlengi, has cerebral palsy.
8-year-old Hlengi is also deaf and blind, and has a badly curved spine.
Hlengiwe has her work cut out for her every single day as she has to carry her son everywhere.
Every morning Hlengiwe carries Hlengi to her mother's house where he spends the day while she works, and she must carry him home in the evenings.
Margy says, despite all of the above, Hlengiwe arrives at work every morning with a smile on her face, full of the joys of life.
Bobby Maharaj from Seagull Industrial Products decided to step in to make Hlengiwe's life much easier.
