The terrifying moment when a raging bull tramples a rider

Bull riding is a rodeo sport that most do for the fun and pure excitement. All one has to do is get on a bucking bull and attempt to stay mounted while the animal attempts to buck off the rider. 

Cheers of excitement from the crowd in Mexico which had come to watch a bull riding competition soon turned into cries of terror when a cowboy was knocked off by a bull and thrown into midair, before landing face first on the ground.

The bull turned his back on the cowboy for a few seconds as it attacked the rodeo clown. Luckily the clown managed to flee the scene - this was seriously not a laughing matter. How terrifying! 

The cowboy lost consciousness and a group of men managed to carry him out of what has to be undoubtedly of one of his worst nightmares.
