A Texas woman underwent surgery on her jaw and woke up with a British accent.
Mother of three, Lisa Alamia from Rosenberg, Texas, had surgery to correct an overbite.
The surgery ended up entirely changing her speech.
The condition is known as foreign accent syndrome.
Lisa says her friends and family now tease her about it, but initially thought she was joking around.
