The story of a texting man and a grizzly bear

We are all guilty of being addicted to our phones. It’s the digital age, as everyone says. Sometimes we can get so engrossed with what's on the screen that we forget to look up.
This is one texting fail that you don’t want to find yourself in. A TV station in Los Angeles was tracking a bear which somehow got loose and was making its way through a neighbourhood.

As the bear casually made its way into a driveway, he nearly ran into Vaz Terdandenyan, who was clearly at the wrong place at the wrong time. Vaz was so preoccupied being glued to his screen texting his boss that he nearly ran into the grizzly bear.

Luckily for him, he managed to look up in time and make his great escape. He definitely didn’t think he would spot a bear walking down the street!
