Rope gets caught around woman's neck during swing

There’s nothing as exciting as going out on a holiday as a family. The adventures that form part of the activities can create great memories.
But that was not the case for one young woman who was on holiday in Cornwall. Instead of enjoying one of their rides, she was left with horrible pain and scars due to staff negligence.
Claire Hatch suffered a terrible accident when a rope caught around her neck during a go on the Gravity Swing at the Eden Project. “The one girl on her own supervising the swing, who's [e] job it was to make sure everything was safe, forgot to tie back one of the ropes so as we swung back down for the second time the rope caught around my neck. It was only me being yanked backwards that saved me from being very seriously hurt.... or worse,” Hatch wrote on Facebook.

She added that she was only taken to hospital after an hour of being in pain, and following the incident, no one from Hangloose has bothered to check how she is. Hatch is not the only one who recently suffered great injury while on a ride in an amusement park.
In May, Elizabeth Gilreath made headlines after her scalp was torn after her hair got caught on a carnival ride. She, however, underwent surgery and recovered.
