According to USA Today, the flight was making its way from Turkey's capital Ankara and was carrying 162 passengers. The commercial flight included two pilots and six flight crew members. Images of the plane made the rounds on social media, which show the Boeing 737-800 dangling from the edge of a cliff. Flights had to be suspended for several hours before resuming.
It truly is a miracle that passengers managed to survive this terrifying incident, which could have had deadly consequences. For once, thank goodness for mud!
