Allister Coetzee lost a lot of games while in charge of the Springboks, and he has been sacked as a result. However, he will be the coach remembered for always having a story to tell after games.
SA Rugby has confirmed that it has parted ways with Springbok coach Allister Coetzee. The coach had been under intense pressure after a poor record in his two years in charge of the national team.

In the 25 games under Coetzee’s leadership, the Springboks lost 12, won 11 and drew two.
The Springboks also suffered their biggest ever defeat to the All Blacks during Coetzee’s coaching tenure – a 57-0 hammering in September last year.

BREAKING: SA Rugby had reached an agreement with Allister Coetzee to part ways with immediate effect. The Rugby Department of SA Rugby will manage the responsibilities of the Bok coach until the coaching and management group for 2018 is confirmed later this month.
