This is an incredible story.

A letter written to Father Christmas more than 60 years ago is about to be reunited with the man who wrote it.

24-year-old Lewis Shaw found the crumpled old letter in rubble while working on a 1930s property in Reading, England.

It was written by a young lad called David.

Lewis posted a picture of it on social media to track down the author and they have now arranged to meet.

The letter, which is believed to be about 60 years old reads, "Dear Father Christmas, Please can you send me a Rupert annual, and a drum box of chalks, soldiers and Indians, slippers and any little toys you have to spare, Love David."

Lewis spoke to neighbours on both sides of the house who have lived there since the 1930s.

They were also able to give him David's surname, which he then typed into Facebook.

We absolutely love this story.
