Lace up! Mom admits to wearing corset for 23 hours a day

'I have to slim down and get my waist smaller'. Those are common words used by women when they try to get into shape. While many choose to go on a diet or hit the gym, this mom is choosing a 'tighter' method to do so.
Corset wearing is not a new tradition and has been around for centuries. It is said that the first corset made the rounds in the 16th century during the Victorian era.

The stiff body garment was used by women in France who aimed to get a delicate waist by using it to lace up and tighten the area.
Diana Ringo, 39, from San Diego, USA has shocked many by revealing that she wears a corset for up to 23 hours per day in an effort to get her waist down to a shocking 18 inches (just over 45 centimetres).
She says that she wears the corset as it makes her 'feel sexy' and only removes it when she's working out or having a shower.

If that was not insane enough, it is reported that she has spent over $2,000 (over R23,000) on them.
