A goldfish has become the first of its kind to ever be fitted with braces.
The goldfish, named Mr Hot Wing was born without a lower jaw bone and had been struggling to breathe.
So, in order to help Mr Hot Wing's mouth stay open, vet Brian Palmeiro fashioned an apparatus which resembles a little brace.
Lehigh Valley Veterinary Dermatology in Pennsylvania where Brian practices posted the image of a happy-looking Mr Hot Wing on their Facebook page recently.
