Although the clouds may be disappearing, there are many parts of KZN that were badly affected by the heavy rains which caused devastation across the province.

Many relief efforts have been set up and circulated on social media, seeking food and clothes to assist those who have been left with nothing.

Even musician Prince Kaybee came through and pledged a hefty sum of R150,000. He took to his Instagram to share the news of his donation: "Donating 150k to the families that lost their homes in Umlazi. It's not enough so if you inspired by this post join me lets rebuild Ulmazi. #PrayForDurban #PrayForUmlazi."

In addition to Prince Kaybee, Durban businessman Dogg DBN has made it his mission to assist where he can to help those in need.

During his interview with Bongani and Mags, the Durbanite said that he is doing what he can and rallying the people to help rebuild. He urged people to physically go out and support instead of taking to social media to 'help' by tweeting and posting.
