Bongani's friend's sister had lobola paid for her. Now that their plans for marriage are well under way, she has been instructed that her child has to go live with the grandmother and not with her and her fiance as the new married couple.
Bongani explains that in Zulu culture, the Mtolo ancestors can't be accepting of the child who's of another clan.
