New study reveals that a beer a day could reduce risk of heart disease and strokes
This is for all the beer drinkers out there.
According to Metro, a study was conducted which investigated the health benefits of drinking a beer a day.
The study revealed that drinking 1 pint of beer a day could help reduce the risk of you having a stroke or even getting heart disease in your later years. We are sure that all you beer drinkers are probably jumping for joy right now.
The study that was conducted looked at approximately 80 000 adults over a 6 year period. Results has shown that adults who drank moderate amounts of beer regularly had better cholesterol levels as opposed to their non-drinking friends.

The 'good' cholesterol, also known as HDL helps to protect your most vital organ, the heart, from the bad cholesterol which could be life threatening. Over the period of an adult's life, their HDL tends to decline.
But men who drink a pint or two and women who had a pint, results proved that the HDL was slower than the non-drinkers.
We are, of course, not promoting alcohol abuse of any kind. But for those of you who do enjoy chugging on a pint after your long day of work, it wouldn't be such a bad thing, right?
